Children's Ministry

Grace Bible Church offers several opportunities for children to learn about God and to have some fun. We offer Christian Education classes on Sunday mornings, Awana Wednesday nights from fall to the beginning of summer for ages 3 years to 6th grade with a different summer program for kids first to sixth grade, while 6th to 12th grades meet all year round. We are also a part of the Child Evangelism Bible Club at the local elementary school and do several things with the elementary school that is cattycorner to our property.

Christian Education

Grace Bible Church offers a complete range of children's programs on Sunday morning from infants through high school. We have a nursery for infants to 4 year olds and Children's Church for Kindergarten through 5th grade during the service and Christian Education for all ages following the service.

Awana

Our Awana program covers 3, 4, and 5 year olds (Cubbies), Kindergarten through 2nd grade (Sparks) and 3rd through 6th grade (Truth & Training or T & T). The clubbers (children) in our program are currently evenly split between children from the church and those from our community which gives us a blend of kids and backgrounds that make our Awana program very rewarding to be a part of and gives even our children an opportunity to minister to other children. Awana meets from September to the end of May.

Summer Children's Program

This is the program that picks up where Awana stops. It is designed to be a less intensive program that gives our Awana leaders a break but keeps the children involved. We have designed the program to be a stand alone lesson for each so vacations don't cause any problems with flow. Each week is a study of a Bible character, a game time, and song and activity. This is an informal, no uniform, just good time for all.

Middle and High school Program

Our youth group meets Sunday mornings after the service and on Wednesday nights (and sometimes Sunday nights in the summer) and is for Middle School and High School aged teenagers. The program is a Christ centered time to learn and have fun with games, lessons, retreats, and outreach that will build the kid's faith.

Child Evangelism Bible Club

We are currently involved with Child Evangelism Fellowship to start and maintain a Bible Club at the local elementary school cattycorner to our building. While this is run by Child Evangelism Grace Bible is one of the key players in staffing it. This, once again, allows us to impact the neighborhood God has planted us in and we look forward to seeing the fruit of this labor.
